Praise is the currency of the Kingdom.


When My people understand what praise does for Me and what it will do for them, they will see My Presence and My power like they have never seen it before.


Seven Major Hebrew Words for Praise:


1. Hallel - shine, make a show, boast, clamorously foolish, to rain, to celebrate, boast, make foolish, fein or make mad

2. Yadah - Comes from two root compound words: Yad - open hands; open hands posture, direction, power; Ah - a derivative from God's Name Jehovah; Yada praise is responding to God with uplifted or out stretched hands. (Absolute surrender)

3. Todah (Towdah) an extension of the hands in adoration; sometimes rendered as thanksgiving; admit or acknowledge as real or true. 

4. Barak - bless; a physical act of adoration; submissive praise and blessing, a physical bowing before God; an attitude or posture 

5. Shabach - a holy roar; to address in a loud tone; to commend; to shout; loud voice; unashamed to declare the triumph the mercy of God; a loud adoration; a testimony of praise; it just explodes out of you; loud to the extreme; to soothe, to still, to stroke 

6. Zamar - to make music in praise to God; to celebrate in song and music: to sing forth praises; celebrate in song and sometimes in dance 

7. Tahillah - spontaneous praise, it's like an eruption. Praise that erupts from a heart of gratitude. Praise that is unrestrained or uncontained. Praise that bursts forth from a heart that is thankful, grateful, and appreciative of Who God is and what He has done and will do. It's testimony praise.
